My approach to therapy
Welcome to my practice!
I believe the rapport between a client and therapist is the most important part of therapy. Having someone in your corner who you can trust to both support and challenge you is invaluable.
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My approach uses ACT because it validates the essential humanity in all of us - we all struggle, no matter how much we plan or how hard we work.
I believe we’re all doing our best to strive for what matters most to us. Whether you’re navigating a major life change or just feeling stuck in a cycle that isn't working anymore, you deserve to work with someone who provides both steady support and practical skills. I’d love to hear from you!

Education & Training
I earned a BA from the University of Virginia in 2007. I completed my MSW degree at Boston College in 2010. I have worked in direct practice with clients for my full career.
Since completing a formal ACT training in 2017, I’ve focused on guiding others in the treatment. I began mentoring other providers in 2019 and became a formal ACT trainer for mental health professionals in 2021.
More information about ACT can be found at the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) website. I am a member of ACBS.
